The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship heads to Shanghai for two further races on 4 and 5 July.

After scoring valuable points in Sanya on 20 June, DS PENSKE arrives at the second Chinese event of the season determined to continue its momentum. The team has particularly fond memories of Shanghai: in 2025 it secured a superb one-two finish, with Maximilian Günther taking victory ahead of Jean‑Éric Vergne in the opening race of the weekend.

For the 2026 edition, Maximilian Günther and Taylor Barnard – who finished third in the first Shanghai race in 2025 – will be targeting another strong points haul and looking to repeat last year's success.

This weekend also marks a significant milestone for DS Automobiles. On Sunday, the Stellantis premium brand will make its 150th Formula E start: an important milestone underlining its continuous commitment to the championship since 2015. Over that period, DS has built one of the strongest records in the entire series, with 18 victories, 55 podium finishes and 26 pole positions.

Throughout the weekend, DS PENSKE will be aiming to maximise the performance of the DS E‑TENSE FE25 in pursuit of more championship points, to take DS Automobiles beyond the landmark of 2000 points since joining the championship in Season 2.

Both races will start at 09:00 CET on Saturday and Sunday (15:00 local time).
