F1 ACADEMY RACE WEEKEND PREVIEW

F1 ACADEMY returns to the United States this weekend for round five of the 2026 season at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Mathilda Paatz will take on the circuit for the first time, looking to build on her maiden F1 ACADEMY victory in Canada earlier in the season. With experience gained at the British and Dutch Grand Prix weekends, she’ll aim to carry that momentum into a busy weekend featuring three races.

Mathilda Paatz, Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy & F1 ACADEMY Driver:

“I’m really excited to be racing in Austin this weekend and to experience Circuit of The Americas for the first time. It looks like a challenging track, with a great mix of high-speed corners and technical sections, so it will be important I build confidence throughout Practice and Qualifying. The grid is competitive, but my aim is to keep pushing, put together a strong weekend and fight towards the front. I’m proud to represent Aston Martin Aramco in the United States and can’t wait to get out on track in Austin.”
