The project was developed in close collaboration with title partner HP, combining Ferrari’s design vision with advanced printing and material technologies.
The concept. The concept draws inspiration from the belief that every Ferrari begins with a line on paper. The livery incorporates sketches, technical drawings and blueprint-inspired graphics that are normally hidden beneath the finished bodywork, offering a visual tribute to the designers, engineers and technicians whose work lies behind every performance achievement. The Austin design puts the development process itself at centre stage celebrating the work that takes place long before a car reached the circuit. Design elements usually confined to notebooks, CAD models and engineering documents become part of the car’s appearance, providing a glimpse into the journey from concept to competition.

Collaboration and innovation. The project required close collaboration between Ferrari teams in Maranello and HP specialists. Multiple rounds of testing and refinement ensured the detailed graphics could be accurately reproduced across the complex surfaces of a Formula 1 car while meeting the demanding requirements of a race weekend. HP Latex technology was used to reproduce the intricate blueprint-inspired graphics on the race cars, continuing the innovation work that Scuderia Ferrari and HP have pursued together through previous special liveries. The Austin livery is a celebration not only of performance, but also of the creativity, expertise and relentless pursuit of innovation that unite Scuderia Ferrari and HP. By bringing the hidden stages of development into view, it illustrates how creativity, engineering and innovation come together to turn ideas into performance. Unveiled for one of Formula 1's largest and most passionate events, the special livery brings together Ferrari's tradition of innovation and HP's leadership in technology on the United States stage.

The livery celebrates the journey from idea to reality. Every Ferrari starts with creativity, sketches and engineering expertise long before the car reaches the track. Thanks to our collaboration with HP, we were able to bring that process to life visually and tell a story that reveals the craftsmanship and innovation behind the performance.
